Using this kind of field on your slides provides a uniform way of summarizing a slide's contents or purpose, and provides a quick orientation for the audience. Title fields are preset for 24-point SmartTimes type, centered, and are transparent (anything beneath them will show through). I find it useful to separate words in titles by TWO spaces rather than just one.
